This is
Wildlife Season

From May through November, Manuel Antonio becomes louder, greener, and far more active.

Fruit ripens throughout the rainforest canopy. Monkeys move more visibly through the trees. Offshore, humpback whales begin arriving along Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast.

At Arenas Del Mar, guests experience those seasonal changes from inside the rainforest itself. Wildlife here becomes part of daily life at the hotel rather than something reserved for scheduled tours.

The rainforest changes noticeably throughout the day

Early mornings often bring the highest levels of bird movement. Afternoon rainfall temporarily quiets parts of the forest before activity returns again toward evening. After sunset, an entirely different side of the rainforest begins to emerge.

Beyond Amazing

“I’ve stayed in places around the world and this place surpasses every hope and expectation of wonderful…There is no question in my mind that this will be a repeat trip for us and maybe a regular trip every year in the future.”

– Tiffany, New Orleans
