Arenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort has 38 guest rooms including ocean view apartments with two bedrooms and three full bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioning, flat screen cable televisions, wired internet access, telephones, mini-bars, coffee makesr, safe deposit boxes, luggage racks, irons and ironing boards. All guest rooms offer spectacular views of the Manuel Antonio National Park, the Pacific Ocean and the tropical rainforest. The great advantage of the guest rooms at Arenas Del Mar is that they are located on secluded beach a secluded beach.

The rooms are designed to offer maximum comfort while taking into consideration the surrounding environment. The buildings housing the guest rooms were altered to fit around existing trees, water is heated with solar panels and grey water is reused for irrigation. Arenas Del Mar is blessed with two unparalleled beaches; Playa Espadillas and Playitas Beach which are contiguous with the property of the hotel. 

Playa Espadillas is the stunning beach on the south side of the grounds with natural rock outcroppings protecting warm tide pools and where tropical shore birds are seen to roost. Arenas Del Mar offers four buildings with apartments, suites and superior rooms sitting 150 feet over the aquamarine water below with stunning views to Manuel Antonio National Park.  In these rooms you can relax in the outside terrace while watching and listening to the glorious panorama of the waves breaking onto the shore.  

Playitas Beach is a spectacular but cozy beach on the north side of the grounds which ends at Punto Quepos, a peninsula of primary forest and beautiful rock formations. Three of our buildings are right on this beach thanks to a government concession granted to the project.  Most of these rooms create the sensation of floating right above the sandy beach while you are breathing in the rich ocean breezes and watching the waves tumble onto the shore. Playitas bar and restaurant offers great refreshments and cold drinks during the day, and the swimming pool is great for those who wish to be close to the ocean but prefer to swim in fresh chemical free water. 

Due to our need for flexibility to accommodate different arrival and departure dates and on occasions the health and fitness of guests (who have not informed us in advance of their special needs), we cannot guarantee reservations for specific rooms.  We will note your request for an ocean view or beach front room and we make every attempt  to fulfill your request, but we unfortunately we cannot guarantee it.  However, all the views at Arenas Del Mar are stunning and unique and every room is caressed with the magical lullaby of the waves while you sleep in our state of the art beds. Ocean View Apartments
The Ocean View Apartments at Arenas Del Mar are some of the most luxurious and unique lodging options on Costa Rica's Central Pacific Coast. More than 1650 square feet (150 square meters) of living space offering spectacular ocean and rainforest views. All apartments offer two air-conditioned bedrooms with one king size bed each, very spacious decks as well as a large living area with ceiling fans, a full size pull-out sofa, mini-bar, coffee maker and three full bathrooms. The private hot tub on the deck of the apartment is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy spectacular Pacific sunsets. The Ocean View Apartments feature cable TV, wired internet access, safe deposit box, luggage rack, iron, ironing board, alarm clock, telephone and hair dryer. The apartments can host up to 5 people comfortably.

Ocean View Suites
The Ocean View Suites have one air-conditioned bedroom with a king size bed, a very spacious deck as well as a large living area with ceiling fans, a full size pull-out sofa, mini bar, coffee maker and two full bathrooms. The private hot tub on the deck of the suite is the perfect spot to relax and observe spectacular Pacific sunsets. The Ocean View Suites feature cable TV, wired internet access, safe deposit box, luggage rack, iron, ironing board, alarm clock, telephone and hair dryer. The Ocean View Suites can host up to 3 people maximum.
